The sun canopy contains 12 low pressured UVA and UVB 100-watt tubes. The total amount of UVB emitted from the bulbs is 2.4%: there is no UVC. The canopy lowers to 45cm above the water (although this is adjustable), which allows a safer treatment and will prevent the feeling of claustrophobia often felt on ‘conventional’ sunbeds. Although the tube will have a tanning action it is only minimal. Regular use will give a healthy warm glow to the skin but this is a bonus on top of the key benefits.
